Get your comfy shoes and sunscreen out: Osgoode Porchfest is this weekend! If you only catch one festival this summer, make sure this is the one (and I'm not just saying that because I'm playing there)!
PorchFest is a great example of a community coming together to support the arts and have a bit of fun. There'll be music, entertainment and food all day, starting with a kickoff barbecue hosted by city councillor George Darouze at 11AM. You can hear all kinds of music at seventeen venues throughout the day, right up until 7PM, and there'll be an after-party at Vibration Recording Studios, from 7 until 11 PM.
Yours truly will be performing from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on the steps of St. James Anglican Church, 5462 Main Street West, in Osgoode; I'll be preceded by the lovely April Rick, who'll be there from 1:00 to 2:00pm.
